Flashing light

 saw lightning bugs

last night three lit

bright as car headlights.

soon summer evenings will bring countless

flashes filling the black yard,

flooding the darkness with blinkiing lights.

so softly

  i will care for you.

help along the way.

when turning at a corner

gentle wind will warm you.

stay well, dearest,

 all is night and day.
