Tomorrow Into April, the fourth month

Been turning looking for rabbits

All around the yard they roam.

Not so predictable as before

But coming in unexpectedly.

A once in a lifetime eclipse is coming back,

This time straight down our street.

Just need a clear ten minutes.

We have a week to worry for an open sky.

like a dream come true

left my beret in Finney Hall

Oberlin Conservatory of Music

called this morning to say i left my derby

then called back to say its a beret.

last nights concert featured a

great mezzo soprano and piano

then player on a stand-up bass made in 1741

then came in the rest: trumpet, drums, accordionist,

an unknown instrument from Brazil,

this entirely gave and got a "wow".

a top-line jazz and classical performance by all.

everyone took solos.

artists accomplished as is possible.

surprised i didn't get cold feet.

they knocked my socks off

Clear sky

Starting regal

high  above the seagull

soars an eagle.

from the field below is heard the lonely, baying beagle.

Without notes

Last night I had it planned.

Meri watched five jumping rabbits this morning.

They’re more organized than we are.

John Keats 1795 - 1821

The Protestant cemetery in Testacio.

Ode to the poet.

Wet early

Already rained hard this morning.

Will take my pills and start the day.

Sleep carried me through dreamland.

I’m set for rabbits in Spring.

Monday again

While still cold

Near the end of March

Toast is tasty

Sky is mostly blue

The day seems heating to wonderful

I’ll bargain we’re going for a good one.

The eclipse may have its day.

A break

Taking it easy because it’s Sunday again.

All is going slowly

Later today we’ll have an idea

How it went, what we need to do.
