First thing Little and New Little are out
Rushing, eating, close to the window
In the sun, where we watch,
Coffee some and talk about them.
Before nine they’re off.
I can settle into the new day’s charms.
Spirit away on wings of slight.
Work out the day until the night.
Another dry day supposed to turn warm.
We’ll take it and give what we can.
Endevour throughout the hours
Settle well with our powers.
