Falling apart

This day begins

wrapped and shower clean the summer week unfolding. a salute to you hello. pardon me saying sunnshine is what we're waiting.

See how Wellington is faring

taking it easy drivibg there. going out for breakfast. been there may times before; things change! no telling what we'll find. roads are dry. a hop away. for me it was downhill. meri took it okay. time changes things. we had one guy at a table behind us. always previously the place was packed. we'll see how we fell next time about Dimitri's when we feel like driving to Wellington.

Drops sparkle

recovering to set aside storm residue. occasional vehicles, no foot trafic. sky is blue yet large clouds hang rolling in front of the sun.

Night rain

cooled the evening. didn't slow the deer. all are hidden by time of morning light. tracks are everywhere.

Wings on fire

the end of the week; for the first time i burned my hand pouring coffee on it. a painful experience.

Cloudy and humid

cloudy dark to begin this Friday. extreemly hot and humid. yedterday we saw Tiny drunking water. usually rabbits get water from plants they eat. tough out there, no doubt. now they're talking Sunday the heat will break .

am oriel can live 14 years in captivity. that's longer than i could.

Curve in the pile

four years of normal morning silence. little movement. she waters today. we're weather warned. it rained.

morning we lie low, keeping out of sight. all seeping in finishing the night.

Humidity sets upon us

for the first time we felt dampness in the air decided then it was uncomfortable. we've no patience to put up with this. we've been set upon as heat enters. shake it off.

It is being said

emperaures will soar next week. near a hundred for a few days. we'll see how the earth insulates. maybe i'm off course. or maybe the house will hold resistance to the projected heat we'll find out in a few days. how hot will it get inside, will the earth protect us?

Good day beginning

little bunny is here plus a bird or two. so the day starts slowly. how about you?

Wheels on fire

rolling by on desire. we wind it up, thr road's just rough enough, our way is tough. steady now, walk the wire. sweep dust from the corner.

Will be warm this afternoon

they say it should/ will be oh so comfortable this PM. how's that. the scatter of good chatter doesn't hardly matter. raindrops patter. bunnies scater. getting fatter. titter tatter. matter hatter. sooner or latter.

Heat it up

up early and dressed to go. have a program, set to move. set to show. feeling in the groove. so much so, like the louve Puppet Show.

Slept well

no matter what i say morning crept into satisfaction. heard little in the way of noise. is dry, windy, girls and boys jumping and scurying cleaning and hurrying.

the genus of 310 species. a tall and colorful flower. our yard has primarily yellow. the red are powerful all are common field flowers. weather has turned to summer. everything wants to grow.
