what's what

seeing what’s what around the house
while she’s picking up and straightening
did i make this mess?
well, seems good weather’s in the air
quiet as a mouse i stop on the stair

run fingers through my hair
can feel her stare
turn and smile to see her there
alas, two different people
but we make a fine pair

ten minutes ago i found a photo you and i in my back yard. She says she was living on the East Coast ten years ago. I said fine. She wasn't in the picture anyway. And so it goes. Notice how things come up in tens?
