Bright yellow it shines
Good morning to you
See bushes thick
Stiff in no breeze
Lacking a glint of greeting
a tiny squirrel hopped by
through a bush quietly
near the spot of sun
Splashes of light
showing so brightly
getting ready now
for a sunny warm afternoon coming today.
