It is a pause in our relationship.
Bad guys slipped in, our loved ones left.

If you stand back far enough to look at it.
We knew this yet never wished it.
Always looking ahead ; we expect a new season.
Right now all around it’s quiet on the lawn.
Then flash … one is back.
